Python Reticulatus spraying water in the enclosure.
She always gets excited when i spray water in her enclosure, no idea why most of my snakes don't like the water. she's about 3,5Meters long. no idea how many foot that is but she's 3 years old now and not exactly small (and not always this friendly either)

Pitone Reticolato (Python Reticulatus)

Dwarf Lavender albino retic (Python reticulatus)
Short movie of a new animal in my collection. Lavender dwarf albino retic female. She's CB by Bob Clark on 31-03-2007 and still very small but that's gonna work out fine since she will be well fed here ;-) Still can't get the actual collors on shot but this movie gives a little impression on this magnificent animal. Music is just to fill in the silence I produce every time I see her (breathtaking). If you don't like it, just turn of the sounds.

Baby Python reticulatus - Biting
This is a baby Python reticulatus, or Reticulated Python. These are very aggressive animals, meaning - they bite quickly on defense. If that makes any sense. They do not like to be handled and they rely on their big set of teeth to defend themselves. Pythons kill by wrapping themselves around their prey and strangulating them - squeezing tightly until the prey cannot breathe anymore. This python was found in southern Thailand and they are very common.

Reticulated Python - Python reticulatus - Thailand
3+ meters, as I remember. These are really impressive snakes. Beautiful and so strong. There are 3 pythons in Thailand - this one, a blood python, and a Burmese python. Of all of them this one strikes the most and is not easy to tame. It can be done by handling daily and petting the head. Or, if they grow up in captivity they can be quite tame. Python reticulatus has a lot of teeth in the mouth, and can bite down very hard. Did you ever see the video of the guy bit on the arm by a python? I'll have to find that again - amazing. It was a BIG python too. These things grow to something like 12 meters long. They have eaten humans on occasion.
